 Yang Yang, a PhD Candidate in the Department of Economics, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Beihang University, China. Her current research focuses mainly on the economic connections between the British cotton manufactures and the American cotton plantations in the 18th and 19th centuries, particularly on changes in productivities and exchanges of labor values and land resources. During her time with the WCFIA, Yang Yang expects to make a significant progress in her doctoral research.
