 Jing Su is a PhD candidate in the Department of History, East China Normal University. Her current research topic mainly involves Eisenhower Administration Cultural Policy towards the Philippines in the spirit of cultural communication and exchange. Through this study, she seeks to explore how the United States during the period of Cold War to demonstrate its culture and democracy to the world, enhance mutual understanding with other countries, systematically expand spheres of influence, and contain the spread of communism.
