He is a is a Super Bowl Champion, a three-time Pro Bowl defensive end, a fearless activist, a feminist, a grassroots philanthropist, an organizer, and a change maker. He is the author of <a data-url="https://www.haymarketbooks.org/books/1150-things-that-make-white-people-uncomfortable" href="https://www.haymarketbooks.org/books/1150-things-that-make-white-people-uncomfortable" target="_blank" title="">Things That Make White People Uncomfortable </a>(Haymarket 2018) "Written with award-winning sportswriter and author Dave Zirin, <em>Things that Make White People Uncomfortable</em> is a sports book for our turbulent times, a memoir, and a manifesto as hilarious and engaging as it is illuminating."<br>-Haymarket Books</p><p>	<strong><a data-url="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilian_Thuram" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilian_Thuram" title="">Lilian Thuram</a></strong> is a  French retired professional football/soccer defender and the most capped player in the history of the French national team with 142 appearances between 1994 and 2000. Thuram is an activist, educator, and public intellectual. He serves on France's Council on Social Integration. His <a data-url="https://www.thuram.org/" href="https://www.thuram.org/" target="_blank" title="">Fondation Lilian Thuram</a> has developed a curriculum for anti-racist education.
