Legendary Mexican baseball statesman Jorge Pasquel integrated the Mexican League in the early 1940s by recruiting from Negro league baseball, putting pressure on Major League baseball to integrate in 1947. This round table brings together a diverse group of practitioners and academics to discuss Jorge Pasquel and the intertwined stories of baseball integration in the U.S. and in Mexico.
